MISSION
The Supply Chain Management Student Organization (SCMSO) at McCombs was built to promote the undergraduate supply chain major, nurture student understanding of supply chain/logistics, connect members to flourishing career and internship opportunities, and facilitate undergraduate engagement with the supply chain industry.

Through direct exposure to industry professionals, enriching academic meetings, interactive company site visits, an applied procurement practicum, peer networking, rigorous case competitions, and curated workshops, we help members extend their supply chain education beyond the classroom and create supply chain leaders.

SCMSO is the premier organization at UT Austin to engage with driven, skilled, and passionate supply chain management students. Each semester, SCMSO dedicates a significant proportion of time and resources to help bridge our talented members to the amazing supply chain companies of the world!

SCMSO is a strong, growing community of UT students who are equipped with valuable skills for a career in the ever-growing, rapidly expanding, and critical supply chain field.

Supply Chain Management Center (SCMC)
SCMSO is the top student supply chain organization due to the support of the Supply Chain Management Center of Excellence (SCMC) of McCombs' Supply Chain Department. Through the Center, SCMSO is able to host the incredible events that it does and connect to the leading companies of the world today.
